This home in Woodbury had a bizarre cramped 1980's bathroom. The adjoining master bedroom lacked a closet and much of the existing bath was taken up by shelving and storage cabinets. Our solution to the problem was to build a bump out to enable us to build a set of wardrobe cabinets. This freed up floor space to re organize the bathroom in a more useable and spacious manner. We custom built all the cabinetry. The floor and wall tile is travertine. The shower enclosure was custom fabricated by a local glass shop.

Matching the doors

This customer has a very nice Arts and Crafts style home in South Minneapolis. At some point a previous owner removed the doors from this fireplace built in. We used the doors from a buffet built in that sits in the adjacent kitchen and built some to match. These photos show the doors after fitting, but they have not yet been stained.

A customer asked us if we could build some Radiator Covers in our shop. We took a look at some pictures, came up with a simple but attractive design and then custom built these radiator covers and installed them in the home. These are paint grade, but we would be able to build something similar in any wood species or finish, to match your trim, furniture or decor.

Secret Door

I finish a lot of attics. And customers always wonder what to do with the "wasted" space behind the knee walls. I often build in shelving, chests of drawers or storage areas. This customer wanted to combine the built in shelving, with a secret door to a storage area. Forgive the camera phone photos and the fact that the trim and drywall are unpainted, here's a bookshelf that slides open to become a secret door to storage area.

Custom Record Cabinets

I am a record collector and a few years ago when I renovated my house I built some record shelves for my collection. Mostly I collect 7" singles and I was looking for a compact way to store my collection. I had bought an old library card catalog at a yard sale for storing cassette tapes and one day it dawned on me I could build a similar type of cabinet scaled up to store 7" records. I built and installed the cabinets in my house and they have worked out great.
